The Story of Kochinos Laundry
More Than Just a Laundromat—We’re a Community
At Kochinos Laundry
We believe laundry should be more than just a chore—it should be a place to feel welcome, connected, and cared for. That’s why our laundromat isn’t just about clean clothes, but also about creating a space where people can share stories, build friendships, and feel at home.

How It Started
We (Isaac & my wife) purchased Kochinos Laundry as a way to expand our portfolio, but more importantly, to give my parents, Rod & Ofie, the chance to work for themselves after a lifetime of hard work.
The laundromat was shut down, inoperable, and in need of love. We cleaned it up, repaired the machines, added modern payment systems, and brought it back to life.
A True Family Business
From day one, my parents were all in—they took a risk, left their jobs, and now run everything. Since I live in San Antonio, they handle daily operations, wash & fold services, and even fixing the machines. They work on their own schedule (sometimes too much—we have to force them to take breaks!).
A Place Where Customers Become Family
It’s the people. We’ve built a space where customers don’t just come to do laundry—they come to chat, laugh, and feel part of something bigger.
One of our most memorable moments was before we had even officially opened. A man knocked on our door needing to dry his clothes. Even though we weren’t ready for business, we let him in. He later left a heartfelt review saying that while everyone in his life was shutting doors on him, we were the first to open one.
Then there’s Ofie’s “laundromat baby.” What started as friendly chats turned into her becoming a nanny to a customer’s baby girl—proving that this place is more than a business, it’s family.

Giving Back to Corpus Christi
Since Corpus Christi is home, we love giving back. We host giveaways, not just for marketing but to help those in need.
From our Thanksgiving turkey giveaway to our huge Meet the Grinch Christmas event, we're always looking for ways to bring people together. Free hot chocolate, coffee, sweet bread, Christmas presents—it's about making people feel valued.
The Future of Kochinos Laundry
Our vision is to expand to 3-5 locations across South Texas while keeping the same warm, welcoming feel.
We also plan to launch pickup & drop-off services for the general public, making laundry even more convenient for busy families and professionals.
Come Be Part of the Kochinos Family
Whether you're here for self-service, wash & fold, or just to chat with Ofie, we welcome you with open arms.
Because at Kochinos Laundry, you're never just a customer—you're family.
